RACHEL MILNE | EXHIBITIONS

Milne retains form, tone, colour and shape. She realizes that they are not an end in themselves but that, unless perfectly realized and technically commanded, they cannot serve the purpose for which she employs them. She maintains a rare consistency of vision and a style that allows her to offer a perceptive view of intense interiors that are often taken for granted too easily. Milne may paint the ordinary but she is not an ordinary painter.’
